A significant component of PLANT-A-PLANT LANDSCAPING COMPANY's "LANDSCAPING PLUS SERVICE" is to provide carefully selected and guaranteed plant material to our customers.

We grow a great percentage of our new plants--annuals, perennials, shrubs and some trees. We follow the program guidelines of the American Nursery & Landscape Association (formerly American Association of Nurserymen) and the State of Virginia. Thus, we are able to offer our customers this plant material as "VIRGINIA'S FINEST" indicating top quality agricultural products grown in Virginia. We select the remainder of the plants we install from top growers in the area.

 Additionally, we adhere to the planting methods established by the American Nursery & Landscape Association and the requirements of the Landscape Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington.

Growing and maintaining these plants is a year-round process. It begins in the greenhouses by allowing seeds and starter plants to mature during the winter. As the weather warms, the plants are gradually moved into one of the covered cold frames to acclimatize in preparation for installation. An irrigation system, patience and the loving care of our nursery staff make these plants grow and flourish beautifully.
